What is new

Here you can read what was added to Stipt, what works better and what we fixed, from the latest update back to the start.

October 2026

Improved

A menu on your tablet

On a tablet in portrait mode the menu was missing. Now the bottom menu is there too, and you will find Stores and Checklists in the menu under your initials.

New

A guide to get you started

The menu under your initials now has Guide: how Stipt works. Step by step, for your role, with explanations for your phone or your computer, and Stipt keeps track of what you have already done.

New

Notifications on your phone

A new action item or a reminder now also appears as a notification on your screen, even when Stipt is closed. Turn it on in your account, per device.

On an iPhone this works once you add Stipt to your home screen.

New

Location as proof of an inspection

Want to be sure an inspection really happened in the store? Turn on Location for inspections in your company settings. Stipt then records where the inspection started and finished, and shows how far that was from the store, on the PDF too.

Stipt only checks at those two moments, never in between, and the phone asks for permission first.

New

All results to Excel

Reports has a new block: To Excel. You get every inspection, every answer and every action item for a period, in three tabs to do your own calculations or filtering.

In the Pro and Custom plans.

Improved

Better on your phone

The bottom menu is more compact, with the big round button for a new inspection in the middle. And no page slides sideways on a narrow screen any more.

New

Giving feedback as a test company

Are you helping us test Stipt? There is a Feedback button in the bottom right corner. What you write comes straight to us, together with the page you were on. That way we know at once what it is about.

New

Two-step verification for everyone

Besides your password, Stipt can ask for a code from an app on your phone, such as Microsoft Authenticator. You scan a QR code and you are done.

As an owner you can also make two-step verification mandatory for your whole team, under Security in your company settings.
